FLASH NEWS – Holmdel Township Committee Member May Face Possible Ethics Charge

Jan. 24, 2020 – The agenda for next Tuesday’s Township Committee meeting was released late afternoon today and it contained a bombshell. On the agenda is a 3-page letter from the Monmouth County Prosecutor Office laying out financial irregularities related to Township Committeeman Tom Critelli. Former Mayor Pat Impreveduto and Township Committeeman Eric Hinds were also mentioned in the letter.
While the Prosecutor Office indicated that it could not find sufficient proof for a criminal prosecution, they recommended that the Township Committee referred these irregularities to the NJ Local Finance Board, also known as the Ethics Board. On the agenda is a resolution directing a complaint be filed with the Local Finance Board requesting an investigation of the allegations in the letter.
